Danielle Pruitt has dopamine on tap. She is a producer, VR content creator, entrepreneur, professional pep talker and wannabe elite Yelper who loves to write things in the third person. She is a proud Wesleyan University graduate with a double major in Film and Environmental Studies.

By day, she is a Senior Associate Producer at Viacom responsible for digital content production and marketing/content strategy that supports some of the largest award shows and specials like the Video Music Awards. She is also the digital video producer for MTV PUSH, which highlights a new breakout artist each month. Her work at MTV has recently been recognized by the industry through acceptance into the Television Academy and Producers Guild of America.

She is also a new media enthusiast who works as a creative consultant to the team at Movers and Shakers, NYC who execute direct action & advocacy campaigns for marginalized communities using VR/AR. As a result of the exposure from these projects, she was asked to sit on a panel for The Apollo’s first ever event surrounding XR and new media. Outside of creating content, Danielle founded Oh, Buy The Way, an eco-friendly focused lifestyle media and e-commerce company focused on encouraging people to live more connectedly to the Earth. Danielle is a Jersey girl currently living in NYC who wants everyone to know that she does, in fact, know how to pump her own gas.
